Bagel Factory Tooley St

Welcome to the Bagel Factory Tooley St, nestled in the heart of London at Unit Su87, Tooley Street, SE1 2SW. This vibrant eatery specializes in offering a delightful array of bagels that promise to tantalize your taste buds. However, diners have experienced a wide spectrum of feedback, highlighting the need for consistency in both service and product quality.

As a food reviewer, I am compelled to share both the allure and the challenges that come with dining here. The vision of Bagel Factory shines through its assortment of bagels, with selections ranging from the classic bacon and egg to more adventurous options. Yet, several patrons have expressed disappointment, as seen in customer reviews highlighting issues like missing ingredients, undercooked items, and unseasoned flavors. For instance:

  • Lian Cooper lamented the cold and soggy super breakfast bagels, which failed to deliver on the promised cheddar.
  • Philip Hartfield shared his frustration over a simple error, receiving a dry bagel devoid of the requested ketchup.
  • Toby McGarry offered constructive feedback on the bacon & egg bagel, suggesting a seasoning boost and a shift to streaky bacon for enhanced flavor.
  • Fortunately, Wendy Y discovered some positives with the salt beef bagel's unique flavor, despite a burnt coffee experience, showcasing the variability in the menu.

Despite the mixed reviews, the Bagel Factory Tooley St has potential. Its location is convenient for both locals and visitors, making it a tempting stop for a quick bite. Additionally, the inclusion of snacks like Tyrells crisps, refreshing drinks, and indulgent sweets such as chocolate muffins and vanilla donuts helps round out the offerings, leaving room for an enjoyable experience.

Ultimately, Bagel Factory Tooley St stands as an establishment with a mission to serve satisfying bagels, yet the execution may require further attention. Diners should approach with an open mind, relishing the highs and gauging the lows as they navigate through their culinary adventure at this street-side gem.

Ordered super breakfast bagels, neither had cheese in them even though it says they come with cheddar on the menu. They were cold soggy stodgy, my bagel was doughy, the hash brown wasn't even cooked and it was grey on the inside. I felt queasy after one bite, it's the worst thing I've ever put in my mouth. I took it back and they refunded me but now I've wasted my whole break from work and have no breakfast. I should have just gone to mcdonalds!

Paid £ for a bagel, asked for ketchup in it instead of brown sauce (they heard me, even asked if I wanted it on the side or in the bagel) - got a bagel with no ketchup and no brown sauce, not even tasty for me at that point. Would rather brown sauce than nothing but they just took it out and left me with a dry bagel? Very disappointed at that price point, won't be coming back.Dietary restrictions: They don't pay much attention to your specific instructions

I got the bacon & egg bagel, the egg was unseasoned and had barely any bacon in it. The overall shop is alright. If you’re open to suggestions I would firstly season your egg & swap the bacon from back to streaky bacon & put more in there! The bagel is already quite expensive so I think these two things will really help elevate the food and make it worth a return.

Had the meal deal. Overall good value.- Salt beef bagel: first time having this combination, reminiscent of a McDonald's cheeseburger? Bagel was good, poor choice of flavour on my part I think.- Coffee: tasted burnt, would not recommend. Go for the chilled drinks instead.- Chocolate muffin: heated up so the chocolate chips all gooey and melted. Yum
